Princess Sophie of the Netherlands was the youngest daughter of King Willem II and lived 200 years ago just around the corner of our restaurant. Therefore, it is no coincidence that our restaurant is named after the princess and is located on the ‘Sophialaan’. Princess Sophie was known as the wanderlust who at the same time loved peace and quiet. So she visited her old neighbourhood often.
